| Israel, Be'er Sova The Well of Fullness - Be'er Sova, Israel
‘Be’er-Sova’ provides much needed meals to poor individuals and families in the southern Israeli town of Beer-Sheva. The name Be’er-Sova’ is a word play on the name Beer-Sheva, and translates as "the Well of Fullness”. The charity runs a restaurant for the needy that feeds 300 people a day, provides meals-on-wheels to the elderly and supplies needy families with food packages.
CMaD has funded this charity in the Holy Land, providing many meals a day, for a number of years now and is committed to continuing funding into 2010.
In a recent feedback letter, the Be’er Sova team wrote that “the continued support of CMaD and the generosity shown to Be'er-Sova has been a major factor in our programme’s success”.
