Bukavu feeding project

A member of the church in Bukavu runs a small feeding programme for war/AIDS orphans in the community.  CMaD has funded this work every year since 2005.

Along with providing them with porridge the children are given ”simple instruction” and lessons in woodwork.. Last year CMaD purchased some carpentry tools to help with vocational training. 

In June 2011 53 children were being fed 3 times a week. They get porridge or rice and beans. The children also get taught literacy, the gospel and some carpentry.
