| Sierra Leone, Wanjamma Adult Literacy project
 CMaD is currently paying the costs for an Adult Literacy class in Wanjamma, near Kenema, Sierra Leone. The class is held each week in the church hall, but must be held in the evenings when people are not working and families can be cared for. So the funding included money for a generator and the fuel to run it !
The village chief and the Imam of the local mosque attend !
The project was visited in April 2010 and all is going well - they have had to turn people away because the class cannot cope with the numbers. New programmes will be run in future years if funding permits.
